Planning Your Visits

Most physical therapy appointments at Origin Rehab last 40 to 60 minutes, depending on your needs and where you are in your plan of care. Every session is one-on-one with your physical therapist, so your time is focused, personalized, and never rushed. Whether you're here for manual therapy, guided exercise, or a reassessment, we make every minute count.

Frequency depends on your condition and goals, but most patients start with 1–3 visits per week. Your physical therapist will create a customized plan and adjust it based on your progress.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement and access to the area being treated — like athletic wear and supportive shoes.

Your initial evaluation includes a one-on-one conversation with your physical therapist, a thorough assessment of your condition, and a personalized treatment plan to help you get started on your recovery journey.
Treatment

Your Care Experience

Yes — we offer dry needling, manual therapy, and advanced exercise strategies tailored to your needs. Every treatment is selected based on what will help you move better and heal faster — no cookie-cutter protocols here.

Absolutely. Many of our patients come to Origin Rehab after “failed” physical therapy experiences elsewhere. There are MANY reasons for this, but we won't dwell on the negative.
Our one-on-one approach, focus on finding root causes, and commitment to results set us apart. This is where we've built our reputation in the community!

At Origin Rehab, every session is one-on-one with a licensed physical therapist — no techs, no handoffs, and no cookie-cutter plans. We specialize in solving complex pain problems with personalized treatment, clear communication, and a focus on long-term results. It’s care the Mint Hill community trusts to help them move better and stay active.

Everyone responds differently to treatment, but many of our patients begin to notice improvements within the first few sessions. Our physical therapists monitor your progress closely and adjust your plan to help you reach your goals as efficiently as possible.

We offer text and call support between sessions, so you're never left wondering. Whether it’s about your home exercises or how you’re feeling, we’re here to help.

Yes — at Origin Rehab, you’ll work one-on-one with a licensed physical therapist at every visit. We take time to educate you about your diagnosis, answer your questions, and empower you to take control of your recovery.

We’ll work with you to set clear goals at the start of care. As you make progress, your therapist will reassess regularly and let you know when you’ve reached a point where therapy is no longer needed — or when occasional follow-ups may be beneficial.
Insurance & Payment

Understanding Your Coverage

Yes — Origin Rehab is in-network with most major insurance plans, including many employer-sponsored and Medicare Advantage plans. If we’re out-of-network with your insurance, we can often still see you using your out-of-network benefits. Not sure? We’re happy to check your benefits for you and explain your options.

No problem! We offer affordable self-pay options for physical therapy, including discounted rates for prepaid plans of care. Many patients choose self-pay to avoid the limitations of insurance and get the personalized, high-quality care they need without red tape.

Our self-pay rates are competitive and transparent. An initial evaluation is typically [insert price], and follow-up visits are [insert price]. We also offer bundle pricing when you commit to a full plan of care, which includes your evaluation and all necessary treatments — often saving you money in the long run.

Yes — we’ll go over your coverage, costs, and options before your first visit. Whether you’re using insurance or self-pay, you’ll have a clear understanding of your costs before beginning treatment. No surprise bills. No guesswork.

In most cases, no referral is needed to begin physical therapy in North Carolina thanks to direct access laws. However, some insurance plans may require one for coverage. If needed, we’ll help coordinate with your doctor.

Yes! We offer discounted rates when your full plan of care is paid in advance. This includes your evaluation and all necessary follow-up sessions — saving you money while simplifying the process. It’s a great option for patients without insurance or with high deductibles.
